Driveway sealing in Erina.

Erina is newer-build, family-home country, and the driveways here are mostly decorative: exposed aggregate, coloured and stencilled concrete that lives or dies on its seal. We refresh and protect those finishes so they keep looking like the day they were poured.

Why Erina

The Erina driveway story.

Decorative-finish territory.

Erina and Erina Heights are full of late-model family homes built through the 1990s to today, and the driveways reflect that, exposed aggregate, coloured oxide concrete and stencilled finishes rather than plain grey slabs. These decorative surfaces are gorgeous when sealed and sad when not. Once the original seal wears off, the aggregate dulls and dusts, the oxide colour fades, and the stencil pattern flattens. Most of our Erina work is bringing those finishes back with the right aggregate or decorative concrete seal.

Set-back salt, gentler than the beaches.

Erina sits a few kilometres back from the open coast around the Erina Creek valley, so it gets the Central Coast humidity and storm rain but far less of the brutal salt spray that hammers Terrigal and Avoca. That widens the sealer options here, we can use richer wet-look decorative coatings that would struggle on the beachfront, giving Erina driveways a deep glossy finish that lasts a sensible three to four years between recoats.

Established trees and tannin staining.

The leafy established streets around Erina Heights and Green Point mean a lot of driveways sit under gums and other trees that drop leaves and tannin. Tannin and leaf stains soak into unsealed concrete and aggregate fast. Part of our prep is treating and lifting those stains before we seal, and the seal itself then stops new staining soaking in, a big practical win on a tree-lined Erina block.
